Job description
We are looking for a Project Manager Product Development
You are responsible for managing projects related to our Battolyser© stack development. This role is at the heart of our product development process focusing on the full product lifecycle of our products and interfacing with many other parts of our company, including the Technology team, balance of plant engineering, supply chain and operations.
Specific tasks will include:
- Being responsible for a number of product development projects related to Battolyser© stack and moving them through our stage gate process from research to first production. This will include scoping the projects by defining the requirements as well as being accountable for meeting the timeline within budget.
- Assemble and guide multidisciplinary teams on effectiveness and outcome in line with project expectations.
- Identify risks (project, product, people or process) and mitigate them in the most reliable and efficient way working together with the specialist from departments like QC, HSE, Design, etc.
- Manage and guide improvement projects from start to implementation.
- Develop and manage cooperations with partners and suppliers in finding the optimal solution for our product.
- Ensure interface management between the stack development team and other parts of the organization, including coordination of design reviews and (inter) discipline checks.
- Propose, develop innovative concepts to increase our competitiveness and maintain standards, templates and tools to drive innovation, secure quality and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for people in your team(s) and emphasize company values and personal growth.
- Continuously keep an eye on potential improvements in the most general sense.
- Identify lacunes in knowledge within the department and suggest improvement actions.

Job requirements
About you:
We are keen to hear from candidates with relevant expertise in the R&D and Product Development field. You are a technology enthusiast eager to learn more and transfer that knowledge to your colleagues. We believe, to be successful in this role, you have in excess of 7-10 years’ experience in a development industry, with a BSc or MSc degree in engineering (Industrial Design, Chemical, Mechanical, Physics or similar).

- Be able to juggle multiple projects at once.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to occasionally travel abroad to visit partners/suppliers.
