Industrial Design Engineer

Battolyser Systems is looking to recruit a Industrial Design Engineer

As an Industrial Design Engineer, you will join the core of our product development team working in the technical heart of our company. You will be reporting to the Product Design Manager. You'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge parts for the electromechanical industry. This is an opportunity to transform new ideas and concepts into tangible solutions. Dive deep into our technology, becoming an expert who pioneers new advancements and enhances our system. Your knowledge of diverse manufacturing technologies will be instrumental in driving product development forward.

You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced Mechanical Engineers and Industrial Designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and shared expertise.

At our design and production company, you'll witness your creations come to life as actual products. Interact with multidisciplinary teams, including multi-physics, chemical, and electrical engineers, as well as (electro-) chemists. Together, we'll develop innovative solutions for a global customer base. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the mass production of our groundbreaking technology, leveraging your previous experience to enhance our product.

We expect your specific focus in the next 12 months will include:

• Get on board fast by understanding the key points of the technology we are developing.
• Propose new ideas to improve our system, enhancing the manufacturability of parts.
• Develop parts from concept to manufacture. Always with focus on quality and safety.
• Become proficiency in the Solidworks package, enabling you to unleash your creativity in a technical and engineering-oriented design environment.
• Be able to produce professionally detailed and 2D drawings to document and manufacture your creations.
• Grow into a team player that can develop products together with your design/engineers colleagues and in combination with other departments.

You understand the design process as a whole product development, from conceptualization to assembly and installation, going through prototyping, design iterations and design for manufacturing.
